Creating Avatars

I recently came across a great website with lots of resources for creating Avatars. Most of you are probably familiar with Voki. It's an easy way for your students to create their own Avatars. It's a great activity to use at the beginning of the year. With Voki, students can create a talking Avatar.

Another friend told me about Pixton. Pixton is a great online application that creates Comic Avatars. You can get a personal or educator account.

If you're looking for an app, try Tellagami. My friend Jennifer Kimbrell uses it on her products. It lets you create and share a quick animated video called Gami.

So, drop by this website for lots of choices for you and your class.
