Fall Favorites

Welcome to Sweet Integrations and the Fall Favorites Blog Hop. Even though the foliage hasn't begun to change around here, I love this time of year. I just decorated outside my front door with a variety of pumpkins.

Around this time last year, my husband and I visited Asheville, North Carolina and loved the brisk fall weather and the beautiful colors.

I want to share a favorite fall activity with you. It's called Stack it and Graph It with Oreo cookies. I purchase the Oreos with the orange filling. I usually do this at the time Jen hosts her O.R.E.O. Project so my students can participate with other schools. Even though the project is over, you can still do the activity with your students. It's a fun graphing unit for any age. For older students, you can find the mean, mode and median. This is a fun activity to do in small groups and compare the results. Since I taught technology, we put our results in a spreadsheet.

  2. Is that the lake at Biltmore? We were there a couple of weeks ago but the colors hadn't changed yet. Beautiful!
