Meet Sweet Integrations

Hi Friends,

I'm Sandy! I began my career in educational technology over 40 years ago. I have been immersed in the evolution of technology as a teacher and as an Instructional Technology Specialist. Training teachers on best practices in the use of technology in the classroom was always a treat. My goal was always to teach students how to use technology effectively as a tool to enhance their learning.

Now that I'm retired, I'm eager to share my experience and expertise in the area of technology integration. My resources are perfect for all elementary grade levels and cover most subject areas. I have lessons using the iPad, online applications, informational text, project based learning, and digital escape rooms. Teachers do not need to be experts in technology to use my products...just the willingness to try fun, engaging lessons with their students.

I've been awarded for my efforts in teaching with Technology Computer Education Conference's State Computer Teacher of the Year and Technology and Learning's National Teacher of the Year. I've recently presented at the online Teach With Tech Conference.

Now, a little bit about me personally...

As a Louisiana native, I attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe where I also received my masters degree. I'm now a true Texas Longhorn fan and follow UT sports. Being retired allows me more time to spend with my wonderful husband, two grown daughters who live in Austin, and my beautiful granddaughter.

Online Resources
I began selling on online educational marketplaces in February of 2013. I am learning so much selling and I love collaborating with amazing teacher sellers on Teachers Pay Teachers.

My store provides teachers with units and lessons on informational text, integrating technology, project based learning. I have to say that project based learning is my true passion. I'm able to bring real life problems or challenges, 21st century skills, and skills from all subject areas into one unit. I've also enjoyed working with digital escape rooms. Students work collaboratively to solve problems to break open locks. It's all online!

    1. Hi! I just came across this blog and think it's great. My company, based out of Dallas, just released a new tool to help teachers manage their classrooms and recognize student achievements. With your great experience teaching and working with technology I would love it if you could take a look and let me know what you think. Thanks!
